Kurdish 4 ft 4 x 6 ft 10 inches. Wool foundation. Condition is excellent but not mint-- even pile. There is a nearly identical piece shown in Eagleton's Kurdish Rugs" plate 18 which he attributes to Sorgur or Shirishabad region. He dates it circa 1900 and states "these brilliant natural dyes represent the Kurdish palette praised in early rug books." For my money this rug is prettier than the Eagleton example. $25 ups to Lower 48.
