antique unusual karachopf kazak in good condition. Found in a New England barn. Beautiful large caucasian rug with all natural colors. Pretty tomato red ground with lots of light blue, richgreen and great yellow highlights. Interesting design variant with non traditional borders and use of field elements. Overall good pile with light center wear and slight brown oxidation. Original selvages and end braiding. Small spots of repiling. Was very dirty so i had it washed and now ready to go. Lies flat on the floor. late 19th c. 6' x 7'7"
