Condition: three old, small areas of restitching otherwise untouched.
Notes: I have come to familiarize myself with this distinct group of weavings through the ‘Shahsavan Weavings Group’ on facebook https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.249478438449106&type=1 for which i am grateful to Raoul Tschebull and Peter William Hansen. This group is characterized by a signature style which is exemplified here, by a fine weave and yet by a sturdy handle, with the warps being entirely in cotton.
