Zhuang Baby Blanket from sw China - This lovely little blanket is unusual in that the background is dyed with indigo, which complements and contrasts nicely the purple and pinks of the silk decorative motifs. Six individual borders ring the central panel, giving the piece a pleasing visual complexity. Soft to the touch, it has a lovely 'drape'. Condition is very good, with a bit of wear on some motifs and one small hole. 25" x 23.5"
