Daghestan rug, 2nd half of 19th century, wool on wool, 140x110 cm, wonderful, rare (unknown for me until now) border, harmonious colouring and very well balanced, spacious, ultra graphic drawing in the main field (somehow reminds me on the drawing of some 17-18th anatolian carpets…), very good pile in the borders, worn in the field, no damage, no repair, all original, softest wool, floppy handling, thin like a good wool blanket.
