This is a jacket made by the Miao people, one of the largest minority groups in China. It is an Indigo dyed cotton fabric which is very dark blue-black. The embroidery is very beautiful and is on both the front and back of the sleeves and around the collar and neckline. It is in perfect condition and looks as if it was never worn. It was probably made around the early to middle of the 20th century. It will fit a small to medium sized person. It matches the pleated skirt which i have also posted on this page. I want to sell this as a two piece set with the pleated skirt pictured. The price will be $1400 for the set
