antique little turkoman torba or mafrash, probably tekke, with good pile, silky wool and fine weave. a few knots of magenta silk in gul centers. Delicate drawing and an attractive border. Allover good even pile. All good natural colors. Soft blanket like handle. Appears to be persian knotted open right. Could use a good wash. Edges all rebound. i see no field repairs. Good age, ca. 1870 or earlier. Genuine antique weaving. 10" x 27"
