Pair of antique Khamseh Basiri Saddlebag Faces,SW Persia , Early 20th Century.Each measure 2 x 2.2.The ivory 8-point square medallion with internal arrows radiating from a central volute knot is definitive for the Basiri subtribe of the Khamseh Confederation.The pile wool is in excellent condition,and there is a pleasing tactile quality to the surface.The colourful Soumac wrapped closure strips at the top of each are intact,but there is some loss to the bottom border of both pieces.Please fel free to contact us with any questions.You can view our inventory online at : http://davoodzadehrugs.com/
