Late 19thCentury, "Saryk" Turkmen tent trapping from n.w. Persia. White Cotton band with Woolen mesh (black) sewn to one side. Woolen baubles knotted to the ends of the mesh. Used for decoration and, at times, has the "Qashoqdan" (Spoon Bag) stitched onto its woolen mesh, thus serving a functional as well as a decorative purpose.
