Rare pile weaving from the little known Pap or Pac man group. Extirpated by their more sophisticated warring neighbors little Is known of this fierce and extremely round tribe. Anthropologist continue to seek tangible evidence of the culture beyond the scant two dimensional artifacts occasionally unearthed in contemporary garages and yard sales. a common belief is that overconsumption led to their demise. With no written language our knowledge comes only through an oral tradition handed down from one high scorer to the next generation. Noting the presence of crosses adorning the pac men we feel after extensive study this rare artifact depicts the worshiping of the sacred or albino Pac Man. There can be little dispute that the central position of the ivory Pac Man is significant. Carbon dating and chromatographic dye analysis yet to be done. Museums, collectors and their proxies wishing either display or outright purchase are asked to inquire. 19" x 28"
