antique very small caucasian shirvan rug with an unusual design and a lovely yellow border. Very fine weave. Supple, cloth like handle. As found, with mostly even tight pile, some scattered wear as shown and heavily oxidized browns. Some flat stitching of the corroded brown as well. All excellent natural colors. Reasonably clean. Restorable. Good age, ca. 1870 or before. 2'8" x 4'3"
