Ex. private San Francisco collection The body of this huipil was hand woven on a back-strap loom in two red and white warp-striped cotton panels and is decorated with the geometric designs characteristic of the huipil of this village. There is supplementary weft brocade over the entire front and back; the neck and armholes are chainstitched.
