Antique Baluch rug from Western Afghanistan / Eastern Persia. a Baluch rug with a very unusual lattice design in blue.
Circa 1880.
a superb Baluch rug with a diamond lattice design with mina khani type floral design,
surrounded by the large boat border. The colours are excellent with great electric blues, deep aubergine, madder red, ivory and black.
The rug is in good condition with even wear and medium pile. There is some corrosion to the blacks.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
