Antique Caucasian Moghan Kazak rug with a vertical row of 6 octagons on a soft red ground. 2nd half 19th century. Size: 6ft 9in x 4ft 7in (205 x 139cm). The rug has many small filler elements to the field design and excellent traditional Moghan region border designs. The rug is in excellent condition with slight wear and good pile.
