Early persian ferahan rug with an unusual and exceptional border. As found, very very very dirty and with overall low pile as shown. You can see one small old patch in close pic. i have included a full back pic to give some indication of the fine colors of the rug. These all natural colors include a lovely old purple and an unmistakable pistachio green. Sound strong foundation. Good age, ca. 1870 or earlier. 4'1" x 6'5"
