#7393 Khotan
This circa 1920 Khotan measures 6’6” x 12’10” ( 201 x 406 cm). It has two large diamond medallions on a very pale blue ground. The diamonds have a kaleidoscopic effect starting small and expanding into ever larger designs just like a kaleidoscope. The corners are worked in a pomegranate motif encompassed with five totally different borders. i really do not have the language to describe these borders. Take a look at the images. The rug is full pile. The ends and sides are complete. The rug is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance http://www.antiqueorientalrugs.com/CLOSEUP%20PAGES/7465%20Konya%20ladik.htm
