Pogaji such as this chogak bo were used as food coverings, with the small looped tie in the center used to lift it from the food. When made with airy fabric, they were used in the summer to help the air circulate and to keep the flies away. This chogak be was made from scraps of two slightly different colored cloths and composed in a design that keeps the eye moving in a clockwise spiral towards the center.
