Antique Tekke Turkmen ‘dip khali’ rug of small size with a deep crimson red field colour. Circa 1900. Size: 5ft 5in x 3ft 6in (164 x 107cm). These are considered to be ‘half size’ rugs; half the length and half the width of a main carpet. This example has 3 rows of 8 large Tekke guls with deep crimson colour to the centers and a soft burnt orange to the outer part. The field colour is abrashed in the lower third. The rug is in excellent condition with slight wear and medium pile. The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. Stock Number: r-1343.
