Back
This Afshar bag face blends abstracted floral forms, fantasy, and pure saturated color. a central row, composed of serrated 'ashik'-like devices, serves as centers for radiating fans of spotted diamonds and buds. An ochre border, punctuated by colorful abstracted roses and vine-scroll, frames the deep indigo field. The result is quintessentially Afshar.
