Beautiful Antique Turkish Oushak Rug 50710, Size: 4'6" x 6'2", Country of Origin / Rug Type: Turkish Rugs, Circa Date: 1900 - This beautiful antique Turkish Oushak rug uses relatively straightforward and angular designs to convey a deeper sense of meaning through the vibrant colors throughout. From rich, sunshine yellows to soothing, ocean blues, a broad spectrum of hues are represented on the antique rug itself, resulting in a kaleidoscope effect, where the colors seem to take on a physical layer that defines their presence. From the vibrant borders, the viewer's attention is drawn to the heart of the Turkish rug. Here, a predominately blue figure houses several dancing flowers and flowing forms, all arranged in a beautiful series of symmetrical borders that line the interior of the shape.
