authentic large semi-antique Nomadic qashqa'i Kilim 227x142 cm from 1960s
This large Kilim/Ghelim dates to the late 1960s of the past century. Its condition is nearly perfect. It is a very well preserved nomadic artifact that will last many generations. It has however a small hole which can be easily and inexpensively repaired.
This Kilim features several geometric motifs characteristic to tribal nomadic (Qashqa'i Qashquli) mythology.
Dimensions: 227x142 cm or 7.5 by 4.6 feet
Material: Wool on wool
Age: approx. 40-50 years
Origin: Zagros Mountains, near Shiraz, iran
