Fine Antique Ersari Turkoman trapping 151 x 42 cm (5ft x 1ft 5") 2nd half 19th century. All natural dyestuffs, colours: red, dark blue, greenish blue, yellow, orange, ivory, brown. Condition: close to perfect, full medium high clipped pile (1 small spot of wear top right hand outer border), original selvedges complete and intact with original wrapping in good state, original endings complete and intact, original fringes complete and intact (very minor wear), no restorations, no problems, washed. Technicals: asymmetrical knotting open to the left, Pile turned ddownward, soft wool, floppy handle, clear and beautiful colours.
