Book: Early Anatolian kilims from the Prammer Collection „Farbjuwele des Morgenlandes“. Text by Norbert Prammer and Udo Hirsch.
Wonderful book / catalog on eary Anatolian kilims (most of them dated to the 18th century, some of them earlier) from all regions, most of the kilims in fragmentary condition.
Michael Buddeberg wrote in Hali Nr. 143 (November – December 2005), page: 55: „The printing quality is superb, and the kilims, which are illustrated horizontally, sometimes on fold-out double plates, are perfectly reproduced. There are many books that give more information about kilims, but hardly any that display the quality, variety and colour harmony of early Anatolian kilims in such an accomplished manner“.
This is the rare numbered and signed special edition with the bordeaux red cloth slipcase. The original price of this book is 124 Euro (the regular edition is 98 Euro).
