This sheep nagual figure was likely made by Julián Acero, an important Mexcian artist who worked in the 1930s-50s, making toys and animal banks. Nagual were humans who had the power to transform, in the spiritual and physical realms, into the shape of an animal. This piece was collected in the 1950s by the Roscoes and is in mint condition.
