Reshwan rug, ca. 1870., Eastern Anatolia, 170x120cm. Pre-commercial, tribal piece. Magnific, elegant, deeply saturated all organic dyes incl. many refreshing greens.... glowing, silky wool. Original kilim finishing on both ends with Cicim technic. Pile is low in the field, higher in the borders. Has 2-3 small cuts in the border, can be very easily rejoined or fixed, while no missing part. Freshly washed, clean and very (!) soft, ready to display.
