An Impressive Pinwheel or so called "Swastika" Kazak Rug. Southwest Caucasus, ca 1880, 5'8" x 7'5" (172x225 cm). Provenance: a private British collection. Condition: Entire foundation of the rug is original including the ends and sides, medium pile throughout, slightly lower in centre parts, no worn areas, there is minor insignificant repiling in some places, no foundation repairs, the rug is in very good condition, probably 98% of the pile is original as well as the entire foundation.
