a very rare pair of antique 19th century Turkoman / Turkmen ( Yomud / Yomut tribe ) Turkoman Bridal bracelets known as Bilarziks. Among Turkoman jewellery collection, such genuine antique Yomud bracelets are considered as some of the most coveted pieces due to their rarity. This museum grade pair is made of gold sheet appliqué on high grade silver with two rows of oval carnelian insets. The archaic detail in the motifs is magnificent. It is as good as any published examples. Unlike many mediocre later examples out there, this genuine antique example is of highest quality. Each bracelet weighs approximately 77 grams (both 154grams. size of each is 7cm (2.75") long, 8cm (3.25") wide and 6cm (2.5") deep. a very collectible piece offered at a decent price
