This Antique Caucasus Karabakh Sumack kilim rug is definitely for someone who is looking for somethin large. Before i tell you any details about this kilim rug, i would recommend to have a good look at the visuals. The kilim rug is made by seperately weaving two pieces and than by sewing them to each other.
Apperently about 90 years ago when the ladies who wanted make a large and long kilim, their loom wasn't big enough to weave it at once. This size of kilim rug is not very common but i make sure i keep one or two really large kilim rugs as sometimes hotels or restaurants may come and look for larger kilim rugs.
5.46 x 9.76 ft (167 x 298 cm).
