An exceptional mid 19th Century antique Mughal Indian Jamawar robe woven and embroidered with Pashmina wool. It is an exceptional piece of weaving as fine as silk if not finer. The colours are outstanding. If you see the details you can get a sense of the magnificence of the colours. The design with its mind blowing intricacy reflects that this is a coveted example of the type. It has a very good tailoring with slits to the sides, tassels and long in length. These were worn by very affluent and aristocratic families but can still be worn. An absolutely rare gem worthy of any collection offered at a a fair price.
