The pile on this Kurdish bag face has such a patina that when seen at certain angles of light makes it appear magnificent. There is a gorgeous deep aubergine.The blueish stars are leaning toward aqua or teal green, but i could not capture that. There is some tip fading which has rendered some beautiful unusual shades and that together with corrosion of the dark colors leads me to believe it is from the 19th century. It Measures 9 by 19 inches.
