Dated Antique Kazak Caucasian Rug-3117. Antique Kazak rug with key design, from southwestern Caucasus, dated a.h 1333 (a.d. Equivalent 1914). Size 4 ft x 5 ft. 10 inches. An imposing motif composed of three octagons intersected by two rectangles extends over the vivid blue field. The entire motif is silhouetted by a yellow band embellished with red, blue and green combs,excellent condition with a good even pile throughout. Some slightly oxidized browns,complete rug with all original ends and edges, wool weft and warp.
