This posting is for a Kuba area rug 55"x 69" - 140cm x 175cm. Woven either side of 1900 i believe it is 4th quarter of the 1800's. Graphic drawing, natural dyestuffs, and renowned quality; finely knotted and depressed weave, original shirazi / selvage, and brocaded ends (some loss).Overall good to very good condition. Med to low even pile, w/ some minor localized crease wear and a small repair. i believe this is a Konaghend area piece. Very collectible with the 3 medallions and divided elements to break up and compartmentalize the field, nicely framed in white,
expertly executed.
