Yomud (Tekke influenced) chuval,19th century in excellent condition. If not for the structure it would be more difficult to really say it is Yomud. Its design is certainly influenced by Tekke (or maybe Arabatchi). It has very nice natural colours: reds, ivory, pink, orange (not faded),mid blue, dark blue, brown. When the orange dye has not faded, and that is the case, it usually indicates an earlier date, circa 1850 (or earlier). It is remarkable, the piece has five "closure markers" at the top border. Asymmetrical open right knotting.
