Shirvan Kilim. 2nd Half 19th Century. a very colorful and finely woven early kilim. 6 x 5 large hexagonal rows are separated by cross tipped triangles. 7 Horizontal bands contain stepped diamonds. All bordered by 14 rows of stepped triangles. a crisp handle lends to a possible dowry or presentation kilim. Excellent condition considering age. Original four sides. 10 colors. 9’3” x 4’9”. Delicately hand washed.
