This silk and metal Hereke measures 3’3” x 5’2” (100 x 158 cm). It has a blue field with a cloudband motif and flowers. The spandrels are a pale shade of tobacco or yellow green with darker shades of green floral motif. There are three cartouches if metal with calligraphy in the border as well as in the arch of the field. The motif is a 16th century Kum Kapu design which is very famous. The rug has good pile and a knot count of 100 kpcm. The ends and sides are complete. The rug is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping including insurance.
