This is a second-half of the 20th century (1970s) Caucasian rug from the town of Shirvan on the shores of the Kura river in Azerbaijan It features a classic pattern of diamonds and avian motifs set in a deep, aged blue field. This is beautiful decorative piece in exceptional condition. Dimensions: c. 120 x 200 cm or c. 4.2 x 6.6 feet.
