Back
a fabulous early Persian Bijar Garrus carpet. This spectacular carpet features the all over split arabesque design synonymous with the town of Garrus and the most sought after of all the designs from the region. The wide borders have the most spectacular emerald green ground and the delicate design has an almost 3 dimensional quality
This very large carpet is extremely heavy, perhaps 100kg. There is slight mothing in places, 2 small crease repairs and some small darns in one side. It is mostly in decent pile, some lower spots. 510x343
