Heriz Carpet 10.2 x 13.8 3.10 x 4.20 This all natural dye, nw Persian rustic caroet displays a large ivory octogramme medallion with a dark blue submedallion and ragged palmette pendants, all on a madder ground with semi-geometric ornament which continues into the ivory, medium blue and rose corners. The abrashed royal to navy border shows simple reversing turtle palmettes. The spruce green details throughout the carpet are quite attractive. The rug has wear with dots of foundation exposed throughout., and there is some repiling. (61708)
