Mahal Carpet 10.4 x 13.0 3.16 x 3.96 This well-woven and attractively coloured west Persian village Mahal has a pattern of alternating rust/rose lobed panels and ivory concave reserves, both filled with symmetric full flower and broken vine decors. The royal blue main border features angular palmettes, large rosettes and bold two tone lancet leaves. The pile is slightly ow, but the complex pattern is sharp and all details are clear.
