Northwest Persian Runner 2.9 x 18.3 0.88 x 5.57 a long pole medallion ending in double hooks is composed of hooked lozenges and stepped octogrammes on the navy ground. Serrated botehs flank the central motif all the way along the field. An ivory border with a Caucasian-style 'crab' border frames the whole of this runner from a village under Heriz influence. This rustic runner is in fairly good condition with small worn areas, but well preserved dark blue. Circa: 1920 (c20102)
