Khamseh Runner 3.6 x 15.2 1.09 x 4.63 The medium blue field of this south Persian tribal runner displays a pole medallion of four ivory and one red hexagons with colourful small and medium sized flower designs. The field displays a fine surrounding scatterfill of Memling guls, stars, octagons, stars and rosettes. At each end is a two-tone ivory and dark blue chessboard strip. The condition is good,but there is slight allover wear. But the colours are excellent with a wide natural dye palette.. Circa: 1920 (c6786)
