#7467 Peking Chinese Rug
This Peking Chinese Oriental rug measures 9’2” x 11’8”. It has a very dark blue field with corners worked in idyll water scenes of a rockery with a willow tree in ivory, a small pagoda in light blue, a flag pole with waving banners and various foliage in all four corners. The center consists of a nicely drawn floral motif serving as a medallion with six small sprays of flowers in the field surrounding the medallion. The minor interior border is a light café au lait containing various Buddhist symbols. The major border is ivory and contains floral motifs. This beautiful rug is in near perfect condition. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance.
