#7451 Mahal
This 1st quarter 20th century Mahal measures 5’0” x 10’2” (152 x 310 cm). The field motif is a very complicated Herati design on a blue ground. The complication comes in with the 15 rows of diamonds on top of the Herati design in very pale green, all encompassed with a major border of turtle motif in ivory and camel on a terra cotta ground. The major border is enclosed by a reciprocal ivory border of flower heads. The rug has slight wear, nothing to be nervous about. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $50.00.
