This antique Tibetan Tsutruk rug exhibits the playfulness and creativity of Tibetan nomads. Constructed in four strips woven on a narrow backstrap loom and joined together, this rug has a unique design of multicolored rectangles on a blue background. No two rectangles are identical, creating the impression of random brushstrokes yet with certain regularity. The upper and lower ends have are finished with a pink strip. Circa 1900 141*72 cm
