Blanket, Miao ethnic group, Guizhou Province, Southwest China. 71" (22.8 cm) high by 45" (7.6 cm) wide. Early 20th century. This strip woven blanket is made from recycled fabrics, most of them indigo dyed cotton. It is mounted, but can be easily removed if desired.
