nw Persian Carpet 10.3 x 5.10 circa 1900 . This attractive kalay size piece mixes several design traditions.The main hexagonal medallions in red,orange red,light blue,straw,ivory and green are derived from Caucasian & nw Persian kilims.The secondary diamonds are purely Jaff Kurd.This piece is all wool construction.The condition is good with even short pile.There is slight reduction at both ends.
