Antique, late 19th to very early 20th century, Ottoman Turkish embroidered sash textile. Natural linen based with embroidery of blue, salmon, orange, purple, magenta and green silk floss with gold-colored flat metal thread accents. Hard to find these in intact complete condition.
Good condition for age with some staining, a few pulled threads, some edge wear, and a couple of small holes in natural linen area. i have not attempted to clean it. Some antique silk floss dyes may not be stable. See photographs, which were taken outdoors without a flash on a cloudy day.
