Antique late 19th century Senneh / Senna Persian mat / small rug. Beautiful intense colors including a yellow background border. Border has a muted yellow background Finely woven with an average knot count of around 170 knots per square inch. Wool pile on cotton foundation. Provenance available.
In good condition for its age with some wear from brown corrosion. Sides overcast in fine wool. Ends secured with supplementary blue weft. Recently cleaned and not used since cleaning.
