Beautiful 19th. century chodor turkoman tent band fragment, 47"(1193mm) long and 13 3/4"(349mm) wide. Basically only four colors, dark navy blue/black, a natural brown, royal blue (stunning) and several shades of a chestnut-rust-red-brow (seen in several shades). the colors are all natural. Finely woven in wool on wool with a lot of fine details. The more one looks at it the more one finds in it. a great show piece of Turkoman art.
