Kazak Rug, possibly Shulaver area. 218 x 145 cm. (7.15ft x 4.75ft) late 19 th. century. The design with typical hooked and crossed lozenges. Attractive border with stylized bird in flight motifs. Clear, natural colours, including an abrashed mint green, that usually is indicative of good age. In good well-preserved condition. Slght overall wear with some corrosion of the dark brown colour. One old corner repair, (bottom righthand side) and a few minor repairs. Original selvedges and both sides complete and well-secured. Sold, offer accepted
